There aren't galore aquavit cocktails. This one, created by Robert Hess of DrinkBoy.com, is simply a saltation connected the classical Negroni. Hess says it's a Negroni with "just somewhat obscure ingredients." Besides aquavit, it calls for Cynar, an artichoke-based Italian amaro, and peach bitters, neither of which is truly that obscure anymore.
