This is simply a lovely, airy crockery exploding with flavor. Hand-chopping the ingredients takes immoderate time; for quicker results usage a mini nutrient processor and pulse sparingly to make a coarse chop -- not a puree.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked, peeled and deveined shrimp, finely chopped
  • 3 full scallions (trimmed), finely chopped
  • 3 oregon 4 mean cloves garlic, minced (1 tablespoon)
  • 1/2- to 3/4-inch portion peeled ginger root, minced (1/2 tablespoon), positive 3 coin-size slices
  • 1 tablespoonful minced cilantro leaves, positive 1/4 cupful full leaves for garnish
  • 1 spoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • About 36 wonton wrappers (available successful the market store nutrient section)
  • 8 cups low-sodium chickenhearted broth
  • 3 1/2 ounces (1 package) shiitake mushrooms, stems removed, caps chopped into bladed slices
  • 2 tiny jalapeño peppers, stemmed, seeded and chopped crosswise into bladed slices
