This cocktail is the Negroni's long-lost, whiskey-based cousin. It was named aft a 1920s mag for expats surviving successful Paris that was tally by socialite Erskine Gwynne. Spirits columnist Jason Wilson recommends utilizing a bourbon that's connected the spicier side, specified arsenic Buffalo Trace, Four Roses oregon Russell's Reserve.
