Chipotle peppers and liquid amino acids lend smoky and brackish spirit to this meatless chili. The other measurement of soaking the beans makes them tender and keeps sodium levels down. Serve with maize tortilla chips.

  • 2 1/2 tablespoons crushed cumin
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 5 mean tomatoes, coarsely chopped
