US SEC leaders push back as Musk's DOGE seeks broad access, source says

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency is seeking entree to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission data, including email communications, according to a root acquainted with the matter.

Musk's DOGE squad astatine the SEC, which is being spearheaded by ex-Kalshi enforcement Eliezer Mishory, is seeking afloat entree to email, personnel, declaration and outgo systems, the root told Reuters, speaking connected information of anonymity.

The petition was met with immoderate pushback by leaders astatine the SEC, which is being helmed by Republican Mark Uyeda, the idiosyncratic said. Uyeda has led a bid of overhauls astatine the SEC since taking implicit arsenic acting president successful January.
