These baked falafel don't execute the crispness of the fried kind, but they are tasty and possibly easier to prepare.

The substance needs to beryllium refrigerated for 1 hr earlier being formed into quenelles. The substance tin beryllium frozen for up to 3 months.

  • 2 saccharine potatoes (about 18 ounces total)
  • 1 spoon cumin seed
  • 1 spoon coriander seed
  • 14 ounces cooked oregon canned no-salt-added chickpeas (rinsed and drained if utilizing canned)
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • Large pinch crushed cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 spoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • 4 scallions, trimmed and thinly sliced
  • Juice of 1/2 to 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
