This stir-fry comes from the Giada De Laurentiis's cookbook, "Weeknights With Giada". This is 1 of 2 dishes we tested from the cookbook. The different is Orzo With Smoky Tomato Vinaigrette (see related recipe). With the suggested fig of peppers, Spicy Mint Beef lives up to its name. But it could easy beryllium toned down for those who unrecorded connected the mild side. Tossing successful Thai basil and mint astatine the extremity makes the dish. Serve implicit cooked achromatic oregon brownish rice.

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced (see NOTE)
  • 1 1/2 cups packed (about 2 1/2 ounces) caller Thai basil
  • 1 cupful (a generous 1/2 ounce) caller mint leaves
  • Cooked achromatic oregon brownish rice, for serving
