Officials emphasized that peaceful protestation is constitutionally protected, but transgression behaviour volition not beryllium tolerated.

The objection marked the culmination of a weeklong run dubbed "Bring the Heat, Melt the ICE," organized by activists opposing ICE operations.

Organizers held a bid of events focused connected resisting migration enforcement actions and calling for the abolition of ICE and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), according to its website.
