This versatile Asian-inspired sauce, victor of the alternate class successful the 2012 Smoke Signals Barbecue Sauce Contest, pairs good with each types of accepted barbecue. Creator John Scofield says it takes its sanction from the ingredients and the velocity with which it tin beryllium prepared.

The condiment tin beryllium refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoonful canola oregon different neutral oil
  • 1 tiny onion, minced
  • Dash kosher salt
  • Zest and foodstuff of 1 orange
  • 1 ample clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoonful sriracha sauce, oregon to taste
  • 3/4 cupful hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 cupful ketchup
  • 1/4 cupful Dijon-style mustard
  • 1/2 cupful seasoned atom vino vinegar
