Meat and vegetables marque this a one-dish meal, but crusty breadstuff and a greenish crockery dressed with a tangy mustard vinaigrette would beryllium bully accompaniments.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces to 12 ounces broccoli crowns, chopped into 1/2-inch florets, excess stems discarded
  • 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3/4 lb saccharine Italian sausage, casings removed, chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 3/4 lb dried orecchiette (may substitute penne pasta)
  • 3 cloves garlic, sliced precise thin
  • Salt
  • 8 oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, drained and chopped into bladed strips
  • 1 tablespoonful chopped thyme
  • Freshly crushed achromatic pepper
  • 1 tablespoonful citrus juice, oregon much to taste
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, positive much for serving
  • 3 scallions, some achromatic and airy greenish parts, sliced thin
