WEYAUWEGA, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Waupaca County say multiple people needed to be flown to various hospitals following a crash Wednesday night that left them with serious injuries.
According to a release from the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at 9:02 p.m. to reports of a single-vehicle crash on Pufahl Road to the north of Zabel Road in the Town of Weyauwega.
Deputies say the driver was flown from the scene via Theda Star to Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay and is facing life-threatening injuries.

One passenger with serious non-life-threatening injuries was flown from the scene to Theda Care Medical Center in Neena.
Another passenger was taken by ambulance to Theda Care Medical Center in Waupaca while the last passenger was released from the scene.
At this time, no additional information is available and an investigation into the crash is ongoing. Local Five will update this story should any additional details be released.
