Miss Manners: Offended sister-in-law cancels St. Paddy’s Day dinner

Dear Miss Manners: My member and sister-in-law invited my household of 4 for a meal of corned beef and cabbage to observe St. Patrick’s Day. They besides invited my ma and dad, on with my aunt, who was visiting them from retired of town.

My aunt does not similar corned beef and cabbage, truthful my ma said that they would bring pizza for her. I had talked to Mom astir the pizza, truthful erstwhile my member called and invited us, I said I was excited to get together, and that my kids and I would person pizza, too.
