For these refreshing flatbreads, usage either regular whole-wheat flour oregon atta, a much refined whole-wheat flour disposable astatine Indian markets.

The parathas are champion served close aft they are made. Serve hot, with your favourite curries oregon vegetables.

The dough needs to remainder for 20 to 30 minutes.

Ingredients

For the dough

  • 1 lb whole-wheat flour, positive much for dusting (see headnote)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons rootlike oil, positive much for optional brushing

  • 4 ounces (packed 2 cups) caller stemmed mint leaves
  • 1 cupful rootlike oil, positive much for brushing
  • 1/2 spoon kosher salt
