A United Airlines level reportedly made interaction with a kite portion it was attempting to onshore astatine Reagan National Airport (DCA) connected Saturday afternoon, the hose confirmed successful a connection to Fox News Digital.

"We are alert of reports that a kite struck UA formation 654 from Houston to Regan Airport successful Washington D.C.," the connection read.

"The craft landed safely, customers deplaned usually and upon inspection determination was nary harm to the aircraft."

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) besides confirmed the incidental to Fox News Digital and shared details of what transpired.

The MWAA added that they could not corroborate whether a kite deed the plane.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) told Fox News Digital that "they person not been made alert of immoderate specified incident."

While it has not yet been determined if the kite really deed the plane, Captain Robert Katz, a seasoned commercialized aviator and formation teacher for 43 years, told WUSA9 that helium doesn't judge the kite made interaction with the level connected Saturday afternoon.
