These are crisped yellowish lentil and spinach cakes. Hara means "green;" the agleam colour of the greens is maintained by blanching the spinach first. Be definite to usage a good-quality garam masala.

  • 10 ounces yellowish lentils (Bengal gram), picked done for debris and rinsed successful acold water
  • 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
  • 1/4 cupful canola oil
  • 1 tablespoonful finely chopped ginger root
  • 1 tablespoonful finely chopped greenish thai chili pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala powder
  • 1/2 spoon salt
