Filippo Tommaso Marinetti tweaked accepted recipes successful his 1932 "Futurist Cookbook" and gave them caller names. He called this crockery the Bombardment of Adrianopolis, aft a conflict successful the First Balkan War.

  • 12 pitted olives
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons capers, drained and rinsed
  • 4 ounces buffalo mozzarella, chopped into 12 adjacent pieces
  • 6 anchovies, drained
  • 3/4 cupful plain dried breadcrumbs
  • About 3 cups canola oregon peanut oil, for frying
