Flight crew delayed asking for medical help for man in crisis who later died, lawsuit alleges

American Airlines told Fox News Digital, "We are reviewing the complaint."

"Despite Mr. Cannon's escalating aesculapian crisis, the AAL4896 formation unit delayed requesting aesculapian assistance until aft the craft had landed, taxied to the gate, and each different passengers had deplaned," the suit alleged.

"During transport to Mercy Medical Center, Mr. Cannon suffered sinus bradycardia, which progressed to ventricular fibrillation arrest. The ambulance unit performed astir 10 minutes of thorax compressions, administered 2 doses of epinephrine, and delivered aggregate Automated External Defibrillator shocks. Despite these interventions, Mr. Cannon did not execute Return of Spontaneous Circulation," the suit concluded. "The pursuing morning, astatine 0129 hours, Mr. Cannon was pronounced dead."
