Yogurt and Indian spices supply unexpected spirit and a creamy richness successful this crockery that doesn't request overmuch prep. Don't skip the crunchy garnish.

Serve with a crockery of food lettuce, avocado chunks, parsley and greenish seedless grapes.

  • 4 heavy slices (about 4 ounces) country-style achromatic oregon whole-wheat bread
  • 2 tablespoons positive 1 spoon extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin seed
  • 1/2 spoon fennel seed

  • 1 spoon freshly crushed achromatic pepper, oregon much arsenic needed
  • 2 cups no-salt-added rootlike broth
  • 3/4 cupful water
  • 8 stems flat-leaf parsley
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 cupful low-fat oregon nonfat Greek-style yogurt
