Ingredients

  • One (14-ounce) tin artichoke hearts, drained
  • One (15-ounce) tin no-salt-added black-eyed peas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cupful extra-virgin olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 spoon crushed cumin
  • 1/2 spoon blistery Spanish smoked paprika (pimenton), positive much for optional garnish
  • 1/2 spoon good salt, oregon arsenic needed
  • 1 to 3 cloves garlic, minced oregon finely grated
