Democracy Dies successful Darkness

This operation of a slender and tangy ginger portion with the ripe apricot and rich, acheronian molasses is unusual, but it works rather well. For easier cleanup, enactment the baking crockery with aluminum foil.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons to 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, chopped into bits
  • 1 1/2 pounds (about 8) apricots, halved and pitted
  • Very bladed slices from a 2-inch portion ginger root
  • 1 citrus (juice only)
  • 5 tablespoons molasses
  • 2/3 cupful crème fraîche (may substitute nonfat fromage blanc)
