This frothy mentation of the absinthe-and-gin-based cocktail Corpse Reviver No. 2 gets a Spanish inflection -- and a dash of bittersweet -- from the summation of orangish marmalade. We utilized Kubler absinthe, which is much herbal and little saccharine than immoderate disposable absinthes. It's a large cocktail for brunch oregon a lazy afternoon.

Cocchi Americano, an Italian aperitivo, is disposable astatine Schneider's of Capitol Hill, Ace Beverage successful Northwest Washington and Society Fair successful Alexandria.

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce caller citrus juice
  • 3/4 ounce gin
  • 3/4 ounce Cointreau
  • 3/4 ounce Cocchi Americano (see headnote)
  • 1/4 ounce absinthe
  • 1/2 ounce Seville orangish marmalade (may substitute bitter orangish marmalade)
  • 3/4 ounce ovum achromatic (1 mean ovum white)
  • Ice
